Make sure your Porsche 924 is ready for wintertime.
This makes me think that everybody’s ride needs a little checkup once in a while.
Even Santa’sSleigh needs a little tightening before it takes off in the cold, snow, and ice.
Make sure you don’t get stuck in the snow waiting for a reindeer or a tow truck to help you.
Get your car checked before the icy grip of winter settles in.
A little word of caution. The winter months are hard on your car. Everything from the extreme cold to the dirt and corrosive materials brought in by snow can do lots of damage. Getting your car a winter maintenance check before the cold weather sets in can go a long way in preventing problems from popping up.
If you don’t have a fully functional spark plug with working spark plug wires and a clear well maintained fuel delivery system your engine could have some trouble starting and warming up in the cold. The cold can also cause parts of your engine to crack going from the extreme cold to heat if they’re not treated properly.
Of course it goes without saying that your tires and your brakes should be in top working condition for those icy roads too. Check your anti-freeze to make sure the mixture is right and that your engine doesn’t seize up in the cold and make sure your tires are safe and sound.
Bad tires can very quickly turn your car into a sled when you are going down an icy hill.
Driving down an icy road in subzero temperatures isn’t the time to think about what your car needs to survive the winter. A Winter maintenance check is designed to make sure your car is ready to withstand the icy roads and harsh temperatures.Be sure you are getting someone who is going to take care of your car and treat it like the valuable high performance machine that it is.
